Family Suites

Many of the families staying at Le Castel prefer to have children in a separate room, so we have created two family suites. They each comprise of two interconnecting rooms, which are both ensuite. Aside from the family suites we have a number of other accommodation options for families.

Dauphin suite

The Dauphin suite takes up all of the second floor. The parents get a large room with a half tester draped bed and a clawfoot bath set in a window overlooking the parkland.

The kids get a large room with three single beds and a sofa that can be turned into a bed for a fourth child. There is a box of toys and lots of cuddly animals, including a giant teddy.

The Dauphin Suite costs 210 euro a night for B&B for a family of four. Additional children cost 15 euro a night each, including breakfast.

Royal suite

Marie Antoinette room
The Royal Suite is on the first floor and more luxurious than the Dauphin Suite. It consists of the Marie Antoinette room and the Louis room, which are linked by a small lounge with a sofa. The Marie Antoinette has a large draped bed and stunning views over the garden. There is a bathroom with a shower over it.
The Louis room has two single beds plus a sofa that can be turned into a bed for a third child.

The Royal Suite costs 240 euro a night for B&B for a family of four in school holidays and 210 euro at other times. A fifth member costs 15 euro a night.

Other rooms in the chateau

The Napoleon room is a large double room with a huge bathroom. It can easily take a cot/crib or a fold up bed if you want a child in your room.

The Josephine room is a slightly smaller double with a shower room. You can get a cot/crib in here.

These rooms cost from 120 to 155 euro a night for B&B plus 10 euro for a cot/crib or 15 euro for a fold up bed (includes breakfast).

Self catering cottage

If you fancy being self contained you could go for the cottage in the grounds of Le Castel. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one ensuite with a ten jet massage shower).

There is a lounge with UK telly plus a large dining kitchen with a BBQ area right outside.

Sometimes you can come up to the main house, but this is subject to availability and some weeks there might be no availability.

The cottages rent from Sunday to Sunday in the school holidays and cost 690 euro a week, self catering. At other times shorter breaks are possible. Ask about prices.

If you want to bring the grandparents you can hire a one bed cottage right next door for them. It means they get all the fun of a family holiday but also have some privacy. Their cottage consists of an ensuite room plus a small lounge and kitchenette.
